The Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Strengthens Its Cooperation with Partners from Turkey

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Yancho Yanev, was among the guests at the traditional festive Iftar dinner organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The event took place at the Kapıkule Border Checkpoint on March 21, 2025, and was organized by Ms. Elmas Aslan, Chair of the Women Entrepreneurs Council at the Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Among those present were the Governor of Edirne, Yunus Sezer; the Member of Parliament from Edirne, Fatma Akzal; the Chief of the Provincial Police in Edirne, Okan Karaburun; the Regional Governor of Haskovo Region, Dr. Stefka Zdravkova; the Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Edirne, Radoslava Kafedzhiyska; as well as the Head of the Kapitan Andreevo Border Checkpoint, Philip Nikolov. Also in attendance were government officials and business representatives from Bulgaria and Turkey.

The event highlighted the importance of good bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Turkey and emphasized the significance of economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
