On 13 April 2021, in the framework of the ERIAS project, the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the virtual training for migrants in Zoom Meetings platform on topic: “Entrepreneurship and how to start a business in Bulgaria”.

In Bulgaria, the project activities are implemented in partnership by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Stara Zagora and the Haskovo CCI.

About 20 third-country nationals took part in the training. The lecturers - Prof. Dr. Daniela Bobeva and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Radostin Vazov, presented current information on entrepreneurship, the legal framework and financing of migrant entrepreneurship in Bulgaria.

After the lecture, participants shared their experiences and raised questions about the opportunities of starting business in Bulgaria. They need more support from institutions to build a more favorable regulatory environment for migrant entrepreneurs and to facilitate access to business finance.

Bulgarian language courses for foreigners from third countries are to be organized under the ERIAS project.
