Round Table on topic "Social Entrepreneurship - problems, challenges and perspectives" was held in Haskovo

Representatives of the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry took part in a Round Table entitled "Social Entrepreneurship - problems, challenges and perspectives", organized by the Municipality of Haskovo, which took place on February 22, 2019 in the district town. The Forum is organized under the project “ReinFORCE SOCIAL Entrepreneurial Spirit through setting up Innovative Support Structures in the cross-border Territory” under the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020”.

The law on social entrepreneurship in the social and solidarity economy, adopted in 2018, was presented at the round table. Consideration has been given to encouraging measures that the law provides for facilitating social enterprises and the opportunities it offers for easier access to finance, social clauses in public procurement, tax relief, and more. The event was attended by representatives of local and state authorities, businesses, representatives of non-governmental organizations with a social focus, citizens and all Bulgarian project partners.
