Final Press Conference under Project TransGourmeTour

On 24.07.2018 was held Final Press – Conference at the Hall of Rodopi Hotel, Haskovo under Project Development and promotion of gourmet and wine tourism in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Turkey (TransGourmeTour)“, ref. № CB005.1.22.046, Subsidy Contract №РД-02-29-238/31.07.2017. The Project began in August 2017 and its duration is one year. It is under the First Call of Cooperation Programme INTERREG-IPA CBC Bulgaria – Turkey Programme 2014-2020, CCI 2014TC16I5CB005, funded by the European Union through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance and Co-Financing provided by the national budgets of Bulgaria and Turkey.

Mr. Yancho Yanev – Chairman of Haskovo Chamber of commerce and Industry – the Lead Partner opened the press conference. Around 25 representatives of media, tourist-information centers, agencies, restaurants and hotels attended the event.   

Katya Atanasova - Project Manager presented the implementation of the Project.  

The participants in the press conference were introduced to the created under the Project online platform www.transgourme.eu  and the mobile app TransGourmeTour - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.transgourme.transgourmetour .

The online platform and the mobile app TransGourmeTour provide the possibilities to establish a network betweenthe local key stakeholders in the cross-border region Bulgaria-Turkey: entrepreneurs, (hotels, restaurants, wineries, diaries, bakeries, food markets, farms and others) and their future cooperation for joint promotion and marketing of the cross border region as a new destination for gourmet tourism.
