Participation of HCCI at the Turkish-Bulgarian Forum in Istanbul on 02.04.2018

On 02.04.2018 a delegation with members of HCCI participated at the Turkish-Bulgarian forum in Istanbul, organized under the auspices of the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey /DEIK/, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Bulgarian Agency for Investments and Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA). The Chairman of the MB of HCCI – Yancho Yanev, led the delegation. During the forum, he made a presentation on the possibilities for investment in Haskovo District.

The Bulgarian Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov and the Turkish Deputy Minister of Economy Fatih Metin greeted the participants. Minister Karanikolov stated that this forum demonstrates the common will and desire for even more dynamic dialog and more intensive and wider development of the relations between Bulgaria and Turkey.

The programme of the forum continues with presentations of the investment environment and the business possibilities in Bulgaria and Turkey, the regional cooperation between the two countries as well as stories for the success of the Turkish companies that have invested in the Bulgarian market. B2B meetings were held between almost 400 Bulgarian and Turkish companies from the sectors: production and trade with medical equipment and products; production of packaging; woodworking and furniture industry; electricity, electronics, machine building, metal products; production of vehicles and auto parts; construction; tourism; logistics; ICT; the production of agricultural machinery; the production of food products; the textile industry; chemical products and cosmetic products, etc.
