A Delegation from the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Took Part in the Celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria in Edirne

The National Day of Bulgaria was celebrated with festivities in the Turkish city of Edirne, bringing together Bulgarian and Turkish representatives. The festive events began with a prayer service at the Bulgarian church “St. George,” attended by Archimandrite Atanasiy Sultanov from the Holy Metropolis of Stara Zagora and Archimandrite Bartholomew Asteriadis from the Holy Metropolis of Didymoteicho, Orestias and Soufli in Greece. the traditional “Many Years” acclamation for Bulgaria and the Bulgarian people was sung in Bulgarian in the presence of Vezhdi Rashidov, former Speaker of the National Assembly and former Minister of Culture.

The General Consul of Bulgaria in Edirne, Radoslava Kafedzhiyska, greeted the guests at the official reception and emphasized the active strengthening of friendship and cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey.

Also present at the reception was the Chairman of the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Yancho Yanev, who held meetings with the chairpersons of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Edirne region, during which their long-standing cooperation was discussed. This cooperation is important for strengthening the economic ties between Bulgaria and Turkey, providing opportunities for joint projects, exchange of experience, and the promotion of trade and investment.
