Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed two Memoranda of Understanding in Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt

In the period  of 26-28 March, The President of Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev held an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. Mr. Radev was accompanied by 34 representatives of the Bulgarian business circles, including Mr. Yancho Yanev, the Chairman of the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the visit Mr.Yancho Yanev signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Alexandria, Egypt and a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture - Benghazi, Libya during a meeting at the Grand Hilton Hotel Cairo organized by the hosts. He presented the main purpose of cooperation - to take concrete practical steps to improve the reciprocal exchange of business information, promote business relations between companies from Bulgaria and Egypt and Libya, present the positive aspects of their economies, deepen trade cooperation.

During the visit a Business Forum was organized with 40 Bulgarian and over 80 Egyptian companies to develop bilateral trade and industrial relations.

The event was officially opened by Ms. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation of Egypt, and Deputy Minister of Economy of Bulgaria, Mr.Alexander Manolev. President Rumen Radev and Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Kamal Madboli have delivered official greetings to the participants.

The visit ended with an attending the Center for Investment Services at the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation.
