First working meeting between managements of Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Cerkezkoy, Turkey and Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Haskovo.

On 4th of May 2017, members of the board of CCI- Cerkezkoy, Turkey, visited the town of Haskovo by the invitation of CCI Haskovo. During the visit first working meeting was held between the boards of both chambers. The meeting was hosted by the Regional Administration - Haskovo. The meeting was attended by Minko Angelov, District Governor of Haskovo District, Dobri Belivanov, Mayor of Haskovo Municipality, Huseyin Ergani, Consul General of Turkey in Plovdiv, who has welcomed the guests of the event.

Chairman of CCI Cerkezkoy, Syleiman Kozuva presented Turkish municipality as a very rapidly developing economic region. For only the last year, Cerkezkyoy's population has risen by 20,000, due to the need for labor and specialists.

Chairman of CCI Haskovo, Yancho Yanev presented economic opportunities of Haskovo region, as well as the spheres of bilateral partnership between two chambers.

The meeting ended with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between two chambers in a number of areas - economy, education, culture.
