On 16 February 2013, at 10:00 am at the office of Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held workshop of partners of the project Market Control, funded under the "European Territorial Cooperation Program Greece - Bulgaria 2007-2013".

The meeting was attended by representatives of the four partner organizations: Greek International Business Association, Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hellenic Organization for Standardization and the Chamber of Professionals & Handicrafts of Rodopi, Greece.

The Chairman of Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yancho Yanev, opened the meeting and briefed on the results of conducted on February 15, 2013 conference in Haskovo under the project. He reported the huge interest from business, the government, the society and media. Noted that the event, which was held in the Theatre "Ivan Dimov," was attended by over 400 people. As official guests attended the conference Mr. Tsvetan Tsvetanov, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Bulgaria; Mr. Delyan Dobrev, the Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism; Mr. Mesut Yilmaz, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey; Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the remaining 28 presidents of the regional chambers, governor, mayors from the region, MPs, many ambassadors and representatives of partner organizations from different countries, representatives of local business and major companies throughout the country, organizations, institutions, citizens and the media.
Mr. Yanev made a brief report of the implementation of other project activities by the Haskovo Chamber.

The Executive Vice President of the Greek International Business Association in Thessaloniki (SEVE), Mr. Anastasios Aleksandridis presented the activities implemented so far under the joint project and the results achieved. Shared the difficulties in restoring the verified costs incurred by the partners and the position of the Joint Technical Secretariat on the issue.

The Director of the Hellenic Organization for Standardization (ELΟΤ) in Thessaloniki, George Bamopulos and Mr. Sotiris Serdenis from Chamber of Professionals & Handicrafts of Rodopi report the activity on their part at the time and the level of preparation of the upcoming informational days on the project.

Participants in the meeting discussed the organization's four information days, to be held in Bulgaria and Greece, as well as the final conference in Greece. Set up the dates and cities for their conduct, as follows:

All participants expressed satisfaction with the agreement reached on the issues discussed and determined the next meeting to be held on 4th of March, 2013 in Thessaloniki, Greece, hosted by Greek International Business Association.
