HASKOVO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

On 27th, 28th and 29th October, 2011 in Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI) office Edirne, Turkey has been held the Second Working Meeting according activity 3 under project named: “Regional Bulgarian – Turkish Business Council “Trakya” – measure for increasing the economic competitiveness of the cross-border region Haskovo – Edirne”, Referring: Application ref.: 2007CB16IPO008-2009-1-034, Subsidy contract Outgoing No: RD 02-29-135/29.06.2011 under Bulgaria-Turkey IPA Cross Border Programme. On 30th June, 2011 start the implementation of the Project. The Lead partner is Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bulgaria and Project Partner: Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Republic of Turkey. The duration of the Project is 12 months. During the implementation of part of the activities is involved the Kesan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Republic of Turkey. On the Second Working Meeting has been presented the Project implementation during the first trimester. The preparation for establishing of the “Regional Bulgarian – Turkish Business Council “Trakya” – center Edirne and informative office in Kesan, Republic of Turkey; the main activities of the council and the ways for their implementation has been discussed.
The council activities aims promoting of trade and economic cooperation between companies from cross border region in Bulgaria and Turkey. On the Working Meeting attendants from Haskovo CCI were Yancho Yanev – President of the Board of Directors of HCCI, and three members of the Project team. From Edirne CCI participation take: Cemal Guller - President of Edirne CCI, Nevzat Taskin- General Secretary of Edirne CCI and one member of the Project team, and two representatives. Attendants from Kesan CCI were: Mr. Cemal Yazıcı - Vice President of Kesan CCI and 1 representative.
