The Chairman of the Board of the HCCI, Yancho Yanev, Attended the Opening of the Exhibition “Iran: Roots in History, a Look to the Future”

At the invitation of H.E. Mr. Ali Reza Irvash, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Bulgaria, the Chairman of the Board of the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), Yancho Yanev, attended the official opening of the exhibition “Iran: Rooted in History, Looking to the Future.”

The event was held in the Marble Lobby of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria and presented a coherent and in-depth narrative of Iran’s historical development — from the ancient Persian civilization to the modern state, combining a rich cultural heritage with contemporary achievements and a vision for the future.

As part of the exhibition, special emphasis was placed on the cultural and historical ties between Bulgaria and Iran, as well as on the potential for expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, and education.

Yancho Yanev expressed his appreciation for the invitation and highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy as a sustainable foundation for developing partnerships between institutions and business organizations in both countries. He stated HCCI’s readiness to support the strengthening of contacts and the establishment of practical forms of cooperation between Bulgarian and Iranian companies.

Participation in such initiatives is part of the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to expand international dialogue and create new opportunities for regional businesses.
